The Gathering I — Pressed Reflections (2025)
The Gathering I serves as the anchor piece of the Pressed Reflections series. While the other impressions hold space for single figures, this work converges several forms into one layered composition. It stands as a meeting point — a collective memory where faces intertwine, reflecting both connection and complexity.
Created through relief printmaking — drawings incised into foam board, inked with a roller, and pressed onto heavyweight textured fine art paper — the process carries a stark honesty. Here, multiple impressions merge, capturing the fragile and the bold, the pressure and the tenderness, all within a single frame.
